Oferta e uso das PICS no Brasil e no Mundo (use of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine)
Práticas Integrativas e Complementares em Saúde (PICS) são racionalidades médicas e recursos terapêuticos baseados em saberes tradicionais e populares que buscam estimular os mecanismos naturais de prevenção de doenças e de recuperação da saúde, por meio de abordagens tecnologicamente despojadas e com ênfase na escuta acolhedora, no desenvolvimento do vínculo terapêutico, no incentivo ao autocuidado e na integração do ser humano com o meio ambiente e a sociedade.
