Definição: Musculoskeletal pain is defined as acute or chronic pain that affects bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and even nerves, and the pain associated with musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders is a common medical and socioeconomic problem worldwide. The most prevalent forms of musculoskeletal pain are chronic low back pain, neck pain, and the pain associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, but musculoskeletal pain also includes sprained muscles, pain associated with fracture, shoulder pain, and others.
